Biography

Kimberlin has spent the past three decades building a successful career in and outside of

Hollywood. While she is best known for her prominent role in CBS’s award winning

international soap operas, the real-life Kimberlin is far more interesting than the character that

millions of Americans see every week on TV. She is a proud wife and mother, successful

entrepreneur, philanthropist, two-time bone marrow donor, and a passionate advocate for

women engagement in politics.

Kimberlin and her husband Gary have built several successful businesses over the years

including a sports fishing and marina rental business, and an avocado farm. She also owns and

personally operates her own successful design company, K. Brown Design. Like many small

business owners, Kimberlin built her companies from the ground up and now employs over 100

Californians.

Kimberlin entered the national political spotlight as a prime time featured speaker at the

Republican National Convention in 2016. She fervently spoke about small business, women in

business, and securing the American Dream for future generations. While she was invited to

speak at the RNC because of her role as an actress, Kimberlin’s other life experiences are what

have compelled her to run for Congress in the 36th district. She strongly believes that the

district has not been effectively represented and that her diverse track record of successes will

enable her to be a principled and effective, results driven leader in Congress.

Kimberlin and her husband Gary are homeowners in Palm Springs. She enjoys an active lifestyle

of skiing, boating, golfing, and spending time with her adult children when they’re in town. She

and Gary are also active in a number of charitable organizations and foundations.

Political Beliefs

I was raised to believe that hard work, personal responsibility, and a strong set of principles will lead to a better life, not a reliance on government--a set of traits that I think many have forgotten today. I am a Republican because I believe that our country is safest by having a strong national security, an organized and lawful immigration process, and astrong borders. I believe that hard-working people should keep as much of their money as possible, and government has a responsibility to spend in a manner that allows citizens to do that. I believe in the personal rights and freedoms that make us uniquely Americans, and that any effort to encroach on those rights should be struck down swiftly.

Official Statement

Small Business Owner – Honorary Co-Chair of the Gas Tax Repeal Campaign – Endorsed by the Republican Party of Riverside County

Politicians love to tell us all the great things they’ll do for us if we elect them to office. They hope we’ll forget their previous promises because they never follow through. We need new, principled leaders who are not afraid to say what they mean, and stick with it.

That’s why I’m running for Congress. I have firm, conservative principles. I’m not afraid to be “politically incorrect” and stand up for the Constitution, conservativism and American exceptionalism.

My principles:

I. Put defense first. Congress must keep Americans safe at home and abroad.

II. Build sound finances. Washington must be held fiscally accountable: start to pay off the national debt and no new taxes.

III. Protect the vulnerable. People paid into Social Security and Medicare – we must make sure they are solvent, effective and efficient programs.

IV. Grow the Middle Class. Congress needs to stop working for Special Interests and Lobbyists and start working for the Middle Class.

I’m a proud wife, mother, and successful entrepreneur. I’ve been blessed with a daytime television career (there are some conservatives in Hollywood!). My husband and I have built several successful businesses, including a sports fishing and marina rental business and a design company. We employ over 100 Californians.

I’m the only candidate for Congress officially endorsed by the Republican Party of Riverside County. I would be honored to have your vote. www.KimberlinforCongress.com
