I am a Rim Graduate, Rim Partent, Rim Volunteer and Rim Proud.

Following high school and retirement from figure skating I began my educational journey. I started by earning an AA in Liberal Arts from Cypress College. Cypress was also were I found my passion for volunteerism, psychology and board positions. I took on my first board presidency there as the Psychology Club President with the goal of supporting psychology majors and inspiring others to peruse the field. I transferred to California State University, Fullerton where I earned a BA in Psychology. GO TITANS! I then pursued Masters and Doctorate Degrees in Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University and was able to present my dissertation research at an international conference in Vienna, Austria.

I began receiving hands on psychology training treating individuals in a substance abuse residential facility. From there I provided sexual offender treatment and assessment for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Parole Outpatient Clinic. My pre-doctoral internship was also with CDCR at a youth correctional facility treating violent youth offenders, many with severe mental illness. After obtaining my license I worked as a Program Director for a youth residential treatment program treating substance abuse, eating disorders and mental illness. I also started private practice and began contract work in the State Hospitals assessing Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity patients and Mentally Disordered Offenders.

Currently, I have a private psychotherapy practice in Lake Arrowhead. I am still conducting contract work in the State Hospitals and I also hold a CDCR contract completing risk assessment/pre-employement evaluations with correctional officer applicants. I am also involved in education as an Expert Reviewer on the California Coast University Advisory Council helping ensure courses and degree programs are in line with the best practices of my field.

As mentioned I am also a dedicated volunteer; giving over 1,000 hours to our schools in the past 2.5 years. Within RIM I am the district Meet the Masters Coordinator and the LAE PTA President. I have served on school site council and volunteered at various events/programs. I love giving back to the community I was raised in and being a part of my children's educational experience.
