My Top 3 Priorities

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs
  • Ensure every kid knows the value of a good education
  • Make Cole Middle school the best middle school in the AV

I have a BS from the univeristy of Arizona in Engineering Physics.  I have lived in the AV and worked at the Air Force Reserach Laboratory for the past 29 years.  I have been married for 24 years and have 2 beautiful daughters both of whom attended EUSD schools. I have been the president of my church council.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe in the value of education.  It is the key better income, better life standards, and, in the log run, a better society.  Education can overcome poverty.  Education can break the welfare cycle.  Education is driving the world’s technological advancement.  I also recognize the value of the tradesman.  Those that create and work with their hands.  All careers requires a good secondary education. Technology is pervasive in all careers paths.  Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs are a priority for me.

I believe that all children have the ability to succeed.  It all starts in the classroom.  Statistically, there is a direct correlation between education level and income level.   I wish to ensure all of our children know this.  It is important they know that school starts their path to their future

Our schools requires good teachers and a good support systems to provide a good education.  Good education cannot happen without both our certified and classified employees.  Teachers cannot teach without the classified employees.  We are all part of the EUSD family and together we can create a great environment for our kids.
