My Top 3 Priorities

  • Traffic - Long term, we need to bring more jobs to Santa Clarita to reduce the need to commute. Short term, we have an underutilized traffic control center that is capable of dynamically routing congestion through town. It's time we use it.
  • Affordable Housing and Homelessness
  • Municipal Gigabit Speed Fiber Optic Internet Service Provider

As a lifelong resident, I worry about the future of Santa Clarita, and sustaining the marvelous city we have today. The city council needs to take the lead and work on smarter development, and ensuring that residents and local wildlife alike are able to live healthy and happy lives here. We should focus on improving our woefully inadequate masstransit system to reduce emissions and traffic congestion, and continue to work to expand our open space and park areas, so all Santa Clarita residents can enjoy nature. My grandparents moved to the Santa Clarita valley to raise their family, my parents stayed here to raise my brothers and I, and I plan to raise my family with my fiance here as well. My roots run deep, and I care about this city and all the residents of it. As a software engineer, and someone just starting a family, I feel my perspective is unique among the current council members. My career has been about problem solving, finding sustainable solutions, and working with others to complete goals. I have received a Certificate of Commendation from Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, and volunteered at Bridge to Home close to 300 hours.
