Steve had a distringuished 32 year carreer with LAFD before recently retiring. He received the Valor Award for heroism by the LACoFD.

As Audit Committee Chairman, Steve has identified millions of dollars in hidden reserves from your Landscape Maintenence funds, and called for detailed audits of those accounts.

Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

I believe most of us want the same things; safe neighborhoods and improved quality of life for our families, good local jobs, quality community programs and servicesm, and lower taxes. We do that, and can always do better with your input.

We are better able to accomplish these things through collaboratiove governance - working with the community, neighbors, and other agencies in a positive manner. There's a difference between cooaperation vs capitulation. We can disagree without being disagreeable. But the current administration's attitude of antagonism is counter-productive. Since his replacement from most boards, we are making amazing prgress for our community.

Government should seek better input from the community. I believe we need a Parks, Recs and Arts Commission; a citizens committee to regularly review the elements of our city General Plan, such as Public Safety, Recreation, Transportaion and such.
