My Top 3 Priorities

  • Keeping our parks and streets safe for our residents.
  • Maintaining our Sheriff personnel.
  • Maintaining a balanced budget without cutting jobs and services to our city

Profession:Retired meat manager (Lucky/Albertsons)
Current Lawndale City Councilmember, Lawndale City Council — Elected position (2010–current)

Community Activities

Volunteer Santa, South Bay 25 Club (1992–current)
Past Lt.Governor of Kiwanis, Kiwanis Club of Lawndale (2003–current)

My family and I moved to Lawndale in 1956. I went through the Lawndale Elementary school system. Graduated Lawndale High School in 1970.

Drafted into the U.S Army and married shortly after. Raised three children which also went through both school systems. And now 5 of our grandchildren are also doing the same. Lawndale is and always will be my home. I am a past commissioner on 2 commissions.

They were the Planning commission and Parks and Recreation commission.

To me Lawndale will always be known as "The Heart Of The South Bay."
