My Top 3 Priorities
- Educational Equity. Ensuring that ALL our children receive the best possible education no matter their ability, race, religion, gender or economic status.
- School Climate. Make our schools a place where students and their families feel welcome, valued and safe. Our schools should be a place where students have access to needed services like physical and mental health, food pantries or even laundry.
- Purposeful Governance. Continue to ensure that our district has a vision and polices to move forward in the ever changing world we live in, always with the children's best interest in mind.

Biography
I know our School District and what is needed, but most importantly, I know our students. I have been involved with our schools since 2004. I've seen students grow and learn from Kindergarten through High School. I know how hard our teachers, administrators and staff work to ensure our students receive the best education in a vibrant and safe environment. I want our schools to be capable of preparing our students for jobs and careers that haven't even been thought of yet.
As a School Board Member, I have worked hard to keep and restore libraries, art, music, sports, and career pathway programs that keep our students interested in school and prepare them for the future. I support and advocate community involvement in our schools, and listen to the concerns and problems of the community to make our schools a better place for our children. I am not afraid to ask questions and make tough decisions, and I do my research and stay informed so I can make the right decisions. I understand the challenges ahead. As a School Board Candidate, I am prepared to meet these challenges with steadfast determination and to always be “a voice for the children.”
