Manny currently serves on the Saratoga City Council as Mayor. He first served on the Planning commission for 6 years and served as the Chair from 2008-2009.  He was appointed in 2010 to the City Council by a unanimous vote fo the Council following the tragic loss of Susie Nagpal. In 2012 he was elected to his first full-term. During his time on Council, he has proven to be a logical rational thinker who continuously applies common-sense approaches to decision making. He values citizen input and is willing to listen and work hard for the residents of Saratoga.

I love Saratoga and am proud to have served as your City Councilman for the past 6 1/2 years. I value Saratoga's small town charm, great schools, and quiet peaceful neighborhoods. As your city leader, I promise to fight to maintain the high quality of life we enjoy and expect in Saratoga while keeping an open mind to intelliegent changes that are consistent with our values yet strenthen our community. My princilples are:

1. Maintain safe and well-managed neighborhoods.

2. Function under a small and efficient government.

3. Sustain culturally enriched community.

4. Promote active and healthy living.

5. Support the vibrant commercial districts that enrich the quality of life of Saratogans.
