Political Beliefs

Political Philosophy

School board members must always be aware that their decisions should be made to support the education of all students, from the strongest students to those who need the most help. I don’t have a narrow agenda. I’m not out to advance the interests of a single group. I will serve all students and all members of the community. I have shown with my choices in life that I value education. I have been successful in private industry and I know the importance of education to success in one’s career. I have been a parent of students in the district and I was involved in the schools at that time. I am an active member of the community and I have been a Sunnyvale resident for 36 years. Most importantly, I have been a science teacher at Lynbrook for over 10 years. I know what goes on the classroom. My education and experience has prepared me to serve the district well on the school board. I am familiar with many of the issues which confront the school board and I am ready to take on this responsibility.
