Biography

Uduak-Joe Ntuk is a third generation Long Beach Resident, he's the grandson of a Naval Flight Deck Captain stationed at the Long Beach Naval base and the son of an immigrant father from West Africa. Professionally, he is an Engineer with the City of Long Beach, where his department provides natural gas for Long Beach residents and he manages several majro infrastructure projects. The public funds generated from his department’s operations go to support local schools, beaches, public safety services and the Aquarium of the Pacific.  He has a passion for education and teaches as an Adjunct Professor at California State University, Long Beach. Uduak-Joe Ntuk also serves as a Personnel Commission at the Long Beach Community College District which administers the Merit System of equal opportunity employment for classified employees.

Uduak-Joe earned his Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from Long Beach City College, Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at California State University, Long Beach and his Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California. He and his wife are raising their children in the Bixby Knolls Neighborhood of Uptown Long Beach.
